Top five rock tracks of 2016… so far

Top five rock tracks of 2016… so far

2016 is half way through, so we thought we’d do a little rock roundup of the top five rock hits of 2016, so far. These five songs are the perfect start to a playlist you can rock out to while you play some cool casino games at royal Vegas Australia - mobile casino. With such rad tunes, you are sure to get in the zone of striking it lucky and winning big! 2016 has been a year of some great songs; with a lot of our favorite old school rock bands gracing us with some amazing tunes. So without further adieu, here are the top five rock songs that 2016 has given us thus far.

"Bored to Death" – Blink 182

It felt like a blast from the past when Blink 182 announced that they were coming out with a new single. And let me tell you, Bored to Death does not disappoint. Whether you are a long term Blink 182 fan, or have only discovered them recently, they are amazing! The song has the same pop like elements that we enjoy in all of Blink’s songs and their very typical Blink 182 lyrics are bound to take you back to your youth, when you enjoyed most of their formative work.

"Dark Necessities" –Red Hot Chili Peppers

It has been a while since we got a new anthem from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and we are delighted that Dark Necessities has arrived, and that it is pretty darn good too! There is something about RHCP that makes them timeless and just like a good wine, it seems they almost even somehow get better with age and experience. The melody of Dark Necessities is really quite a beautiful piece of music, and you can’t help but feel happy when you listen to this one.

"Don’t Threaten me with a Good Time" – Panic! At the Disco

This song is super catchy. Panic! At the Disco’s Don’t threaten me with a Good Time is set up to be a winner of note, and a hit on the dance floor too. Do not be surprised if you find this song crawling its way to the top of your most played tracks. The music video (squid and all!) is weird, but a great watch too!

"So Alive" –Goo Goo Dolls
As if 2016 has not given us enough great music, the Goo Goo Dolls are back to impress us with their new hit So Alive. So Alive is a really wonderful song, with the pretty acoustics that the Goo Goo Dolls are known for. It is a mellow song, with profound lyrics and is one of the best songs on their new Album ‘Boxes’.

"I am a Nightmare" –Brand New
Brand New is probably one of the lesser known artists on this list; but they are nonetheless amazing. Their song, I am a nightmare has a combination of great lyrics and some awesome guitar in it. Definitely worth a listen.
