Welcome to episode #83 of the Rock Interview Series, where I chat with some of the most talented and passionate rock musicians in the industry. For this feature, I have the pleasure of having the husband-and-wife duo Jon Stipp and Nikki Stipp of the Sandusky, Ohio band Hooked Like Helen as my guests.

Hooked Like Helen is a pop-rock alternative band that blends catchy melodies, powerful vocals, and emotional lyrics. They have been making waves in the music scene with their EP ‘Tragedy of Physics,’ which features songs that have been featured in various TV shows and movies, such as ‘High Strung Free Dance.’

Hooked Like Helen recently completed a tour across the US, winning over hundreds of fans at each performance.

During this interview, Nikki and Jon talk about their musical journey, their influences, their creative process, and their future plans. They also give us some insights into some of their hit songs, such as the catchy “Liar”, the haunting “Sleepwalker”, their latest single “Fraud” and their epic collaboration with Halocene on the cover of “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo.
