Hard rock band Buckcherry will unleash their eleventh studio album, ‘Roar Like Thunder,’ on June 13—just in time for summer and another milestone in the band’s 26-year ride. Frontman Josh Todd, joined by Stevie D. (lead guitar), Billy Rowe (rhythm guitar), Kelly LeMieux (bass) and Francis Ruiz (drums), promises a record packed with big choruses, blues-bitten riffs and the no-apologies energy that made “Lit Up,” “Crazy Bitch” and “Hellbound” staples of modern hard rock.
The release launches Buckcherry straight into a busy road season: a full U.S. summer run rolls into a high-profile Las Vegas residency with Scorpions, with additional festival, fair and package dates still under wraps. “Everything’s working really well right now, so I’m gonna take it,” Todd told Thomas S. Orwat, Jr. on the Rock Interview Series podcast, underscoring the band’s all-gas-no-brakes outlook.
Only after running through tour logistics did Orwat broach the idea of a memoir. Asked about writing a book on his rock-’n’-roll journey, Todd said he has zero appetite for it—at least for now:
“I’m just not a fan of music stories… because I’ve lived it, it’s boring to me. Maybe I’ll rethink it when I’m not in the game anymore.”
Until that distant day, the next chapters of Buckcherry’s saga will stay loud, live and onstage—exactly where Josh Todd wants them.. https://www.buckcherry.com/
