Welcome to episode # 40 of the Rock Interview Series. My guest for this feature is Pete Sandberg, the dynamic lead singer, songwriter of the five-piece, hard rocking band from Sweden- Mad Invasion.

In addition to Pete Sandberg, Mad Invasion also includes: all-star Swedish musicians: Bjorn Dahlberg-guitar, Hal Marabel – guitar / keyboard, Mats Jeppsson -bass and Mats Bergentz – drums. The band released their epic, well crafted, debut 10-track album entitled “Edge Of The World,” on September 24, 2021.

Mad Invasion’s sound can best be described as a mix of classic rock bands such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, but with a bit of a modern twist. They are one of the most impressive new bands out at the moment with a cool image and great songs.

Mad Invasion have already released three must see videos from their new record. Two of them “Edge of the World,” and “Crazy and Wild.” feature guest drummer Mikkey Dee of the Scorpions, and formerly of Motorhead. (See videos for these tracks below).
