While most musicians are content with being in one incredible band, bass player /songwriter Rob De Luca is in three. De Luca is a founding member of late 80’s New York City Street Metal band, Spread Eagle, who released an incredible comeback record in 2019 entitled, “Subway to the Stars.”

De Luca is also the current bassist in the classic, iconic rock band UFO. He has been a member of the band since 2008, when he replaced original member Pete Way. De Luca performed on the two most recent UFO records: “A Conspiracy of Stars” (2015) and “The Salentino Cuts” (2017).

In addition, De Luca performs with ex-Skid Row vocalist, Sebastian Bach’s solo band. De Luca joined up with Bach in 2005 and played in some of the biggest stadiums across the world, when the Sebastian Bach band opened for Guns n’ Roses 2006 tour.
Rob De Luca is our special guest for episode #9 of the “Glam Metal Interview Series.” During this exclusive interview, De Luca talks about how he is navigating through the Covid -19 pandemic, and gives updates on Spread Eagle and UFO. Please take a listen.
