Rowan Robertson – DIO (1989-91) – “Glam Metal Interview Series”- Episode #18 – 03/11/2021

Rowan Robertson is best known for being the lead guitarist in Ronnie James Dio’s band DIO, from 1989-1991. Rowan was recruited at the age 17 years old. He co-wrote and recorded 1 record with DIO, entitled “Lock Up the Wolves,” which was released on May 15, 1990.

In addition, to performing with DIO, Rowan has also been a member in Bang Tango, Violet’s Demise, VAST and is currently in DC4, which features Jeff Duncan of Armored Saint and his brothers Shawn Duncan and Matt Duncan.

What follows is an exclusive interview with Rowan Robertson. During this interview, Rowan talks about how he became the lead guitarist in DIO, writing and recording, “Lock Up the Wolves.” touring with DIO, and much, much more.
