Don Mancuso – LIPS TURN BLUE, Lou Gramm, Black Sheep – Rock Interview Series #50 – video interview

Welcome to episode # 50 of the Rock Interview Series. For this feature, guitarist/songwriter DON Mancuso is the guest.

Don is a well respected musician from Rochester, NY. He started his professional music career at the age of 18, with the rock band Black Sheep, which also featured vocalist Lou Gramm.

Black Sheep released 2 major label records, “Black Sheep”- 1975, and “Encouraging Words” in late 1975. They toured with KISS on the “ALIVE” tour and performed as an opening act for many legendary 70’s bands, including: Montrose, Peter Frampton and Hall & Oates.

Black Sheep broke up in 1976, and soon after Lou Gramm joined up with Mick Jones in Foreigner.

Currently, Don has a new band called LIPS TURN BLUE. They recently released a new record on May 6th. This 13 track release is a melodic rock masterpiece and features the vocals of the late Phil Naro (Talas).

What follows is an exclusive interview with Don Mancuso, in which he talks about LIPS TURN BLUE, Black Sheep, and his almost 50 year long career.
